Cheche Smith

Cheche Smith is a media personality with over a decade’s experience on radio, TV and in the media space. She also has some good experience in branding and marketing. She served as the strategic partnership manager for WazobiaFM Lagos, from 2019 - 2021 and currently holds the position of Group Brand Manager at the organisation.

Cheche obtained a Bachelor's degree in Tourism from University Of Nigeria, Nsukka. She started her career working with the Lagos State Government in organising the Eko 2012 National Sports festival.

In 2013, Cheche delved into the world of media (radio/ TV) where she has been working with Wazobia FM Lagos for over a decade now. She was recently recognized as one of the top five female On Air Personalities in Lagos, and has won several other Media/Fashion awards.

Cheche anchors one of the biggest radio shows in Lagos - Oga Madam Show. The radio show airs five times a week (Monday - Friday) from 12 pm - 3 pm.

Cheche is passionate about travels and tours and has played a role in major African festivals and concerts in Kenya, Ghana, Togo, Uganda, Senegal, Rwanda, Tanzania, Togo, etc.

Her passion for portraying the rich and diverse African culture is not only seen in music and arts, but also in fashion. Cheche was a finalist at the Vlisco fashion fund 2017 and owns her fashion brand (CSN) a creatively Afrocentric brand, with clients across Africa and the world .

Cheche is the convener and founder of HER Sound Global. An initiative that empowers independent female creatives (Singers, Song writers, DJ’s, Producers,) etc.

She is a firm believer in innovation, consistency and diligence.
