Cole van dais is a singer, songwriter and independent artist form Johannesburg, South Africa. She sings mainly in English and Afrikaans but also incorporate other languages into her song projects. Her music is defined adult contemporary genre, but she also sings and writers theatrical jazz, pop/ rock, jazz and dance music.
Her music career began in the mid 90s when she became part of the KTV roadshow managed by Errol Weideman (The Three Legged man comedy show) who mentored her and managed her girlband, Simply Irresistable, as they toured all over South Africa, Namibia and Swaziland. Colé later went solo moving to UK where she worked as a TV presenter, model, touring musical theatre performer and solo performer at upmarket venues in London and the Mediterranean Islands.
She has shared the stage with popular artists such as WWF wrestlers, Malaika, Mango Groove, Conchita Wurst, Patricia Lewis, Julian Marley, Conchita Wurst (winner of Eurovision 2014), Basim, Peter Andersen (Denmark), Village People, Katrina Leskanich (X Katrina & the Waves), Wang Chung, Cinema, Face2Face, Cutting Crew, Billy Ocean, Ruby Tuesday, Peter Strycher (ex partner of Freddie Mercury), Rushlana (Eurovision 2004 winner from Russia), and many more.
She is not only a singer but an accomplished TV presenter and actress as well. Other than presenting many live beauty pageants and events, she presented, ‘Mind body spirit’ on SKY TV in 2005/6, broadcasted from London to 183 countries. In 2012 she was selected to present The Eurovision 2nd chance contest viewed in the 26 participating countries. She acted as Prince Harry’s girlfriend in ‘Prince Harry laid bare’ for ITV, as well as performing lead roles in touring musical theatre productions such as ‘Grease’, ‘Cinderella’, and ‘The James Bond Golden Hits Tribute show’.
Colé is an accomplished songwriter and have done many collaborations, and songwriting projects for herself and other artists.
