Daniel Tenor
Bio
Daniel Okereke is an operatic tenor singer and a music scholar from Nigeria.
He studied music and specialised in voice coaching at the Muson School of Music under the scholarship of MTN foundation.
He has performed lead roles and choruses in several operas in Nigeria. Okereke has also been a lead singer in concerts and events in various parts of the country.
He was awarded the Akintola Williams Prize for Examination Excellence (Vocal Distinction in Associated Board of Royal School of Music, London) and also given the Francesca Emanuel award as the Best Male Operatic Singer 2019 at Muson Diploma School of Music.
Okereke is a passionate performer, vocal coach, music tutor and tech entrepreneur who hopes to become one of Nigeria's biggest exports in classical music.
Besides classical music and opera, Okereke also performs other genres like country, blues and soft jazz.
