Arguably the next best South African rapper is here. Similar to his immediate predecessors, this rising (potential) star has been busy building a fan base while he waits for the spotlight to pan in his direction. The talented rapper Francis Chikambvi well known as FBVE OB (stage name) was born in Zimbabwe on 27 June 1994 and raised in Soshanguve block T in a family of six.

Francis’s passion for music started from a young age while listening to his brother’s rap and he knew from that moment that this was his passion and at that time he was only 12 years of age. ”I grew up creating music, composing instrumental/beats and playing a piano some of the things that my big brother taught me and he also introduced me to digital music production software’s, I could even spend hours on the computer learning new techniques on a daily basis and therefore I can proudly say music is my passion and it is the love of my life”-said Francis.
