Bio
Feranmi Oguns also known as Féz is a Nigerian born London raised songwriter, producer and musician based in the UK.
Féz grew up in a vibrant music-loving household and soon discovered his strong passion for music, and at the age of 11 he began to play the drums. At 16 he went on to study music at The Brit School Of Performing Arts, and later went on to receive a scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts; however he boldly opted to head into the world as a session musician.
In 2012 Feranmi founded the jazz band The Outlanders, comprised of musicians he had connected with on the London music scene. The band recorded and released two records, featuring Grammy award winning bass player Michael League, Snarky Puppy and MOBO Nominee Femi Temowo. Féz wrote and produced both records, leading to his increasing recognition as a songwriter and producer.
Féz has since worked with artists such as, Jorja Smith, Jake Isaac, Lily Moore, JP Cooper, Stefanie Heinzmann and many others.
