Gathuto

Gathuto is a performing artist based in Kenya. A talented singer, dancer, songwriter and guitarist; he believes in the power of music to touch and move people's hearts. He draws inspiration mostly from personal experiences as well as from the experiences of others. His music career officially kicked off in 2022 and he has so far released 4 songs.

His first song, titled 'Baby Boo' was released in May 2022, when he was signed under Kunta Geng Music Empire. The song is a nostalgic reflection describing that moment when you realize that you still love your ex. It depicts the persona's difficult situation after a break up and how he wants to get back with his ex.

He is currently an independent artist, and has released three more songs since the beginning of the year 2023, namely: Esther, Mixed Signals and My Girl.

Esther - An original song, released on 13th January, 2023, that describes the singer's love and affection towards a lady named Esther.
Mixed Signals - An original song that depicts the confusion that comes from being led on by your crush, and a call for that crush to be decisive. It was released on 24th February, 2023.

My Girl - An original song about being hesitant to open up to someone in the fear that they may judge you and thus you may end up losing them. It was released on 28th April, 2023.
