Mbuso Mbanjwa was born and raised in Enathi, KwaNdeleshane. As a young man, he moved to KwaNyavu, eMkhambathini where he discovered his passion for making Maskandi music. Mbuso's musical style is heavily influenced and inspired by well-known Maskandi Hit makers such as Amageza Amahle, Shwi noMntekhala, and Umgqumeni.
