Karamu

Karamu is a collective led by the drummer (Alessandro Trani) and the keyboardist (Alessandro Pollio) with a sound that they define Afro Experimental Jazz, close to the new UK Jazz scene. Project born in 2019, it has already taken part in prestigious events such as the Roccella Jazz Festival, and has also had the opportunity to tour with the legendary percussionist Tony Esposito. In 2020 they have been selected for the "Insieme Per La Musica" award by Elio E Le Storie Tese . In 2021 they released their first single "Take Me Away" featuring Micol Touadi on vocals.
