Kobusinge Jackline
Bio
Kobusinge Jackline is an artist from Uganda who incorporates her clinical psychology practice with music to bring about a cognitive positive impact on those around her. Music has always been a huge part of her life, and she cherishes the power that it has to heal and restore. As a clinical psychologist, she uses music as a tool to deal with trauma and mental health. After surviving a decade of emotional and mental turbulence, she was left a shell of herself and it was through music that she found solace to cope with what was happening to her then. She now includes other tools of therapy, but it was from the music that she began her journey. Kobusinge Jackline is a singer, songwriter, recording artist, and community psychologist who's very vocal about domestic abuse and gender-based violence, she is also very enthusiastic about the topics of climate change, she has participated in a workshop called "Nature's Evidence" funded by the Geoth Zentrum Kampala Uganda and has been involved in various projects that elevate the awareness of mental health, domestic violence, and gender-based violence in schools, universities, and community-based programs.
