Bio
Nkateko G. Masuluke also known as Lumphoenix stunned the church with his unique voice at the age of nine. Born in Elim Waterval, Lumphoenix won his first talent show at the age of 13.
In 2001 he joined the group 'Knights of the Zodiac' and later in 2003 after meeting founder and CEO of BFRecordz Tribe of One he joined the hip-hop group Black Warriors. In 2008 his production skills earned him an article in TV Plus magazine.
Before going solo in 2009 he recorded an unreleased studio album under the duo Lumsique, receiving massive airplay on local radio stations. In 2011 Lumphoenix collaborated with a lot of popular artists, and made a mark amongst those that hadn't heard of him.
Lum's mixtape: 'Rise of Da Phoenix' has earned him respect in some parts of Jozi. To put it in his own words: “producing and performing; that’s my thing, that’s what I do.” He is currently promoting his single 'Millionaire'.
