Mmatema

Mmatema is a South African vocally gifted singer and songwriter, affectionately known by her fans as “the skyscraper” after becoming runner of the 2015 South African idols, but losing out on the competition did not stop her from archiving her dreams, she has gone on to start her own record label; Mmatema Moremi Media Productions which executively produced her 1st Gospel album “Love Praise Worship”

She has worked with a number of prominent musicians including DJ Cleo, DJ Tira, Benjamin Dube, Spirit of Praise and many more. She has also gone on to work on other big productions such as lacing her vocals on SABC1 “Mzansi Fo sho” title track and SABC3 “The stage is yours” title track ,lacing her vocals also on the previous Trending SA tv show on sabc3 , portraying/playing Marriam Makeba at the tribute to the Manhattan brothers and performing at the 10th Crown Gospel awards, and recently releasing her brand new single;Yahweh with a music video all under her label.

Mmatema is not only a musician but an actor and presenter too. She is currently on a drama on Showmax called Umakoti wethu, Bone of my Bones” that plays every Wednesday night on sabc2 at 21:30 , presenting a show on OneGospel which plays every New Years Eve and is currently presenting a music gospel show called Gospel Unplugged which airs every Sunday on SABC1 at 17:30, hosts a talk show on TBN called The Wife and is a content creator with a YouTube channel. Her gift has led her to travel the world ministering on stages in USA Washington DC, Scotland , London, Namibia, Lesotho, Mauritius , Seychelles and Swaziland. She continues to spread the word of God through her ministry and her anointing.
