Morena Pianista

Morena Balatseng is a musician, composer and producer from South Africa with the stage name Morena Pianista. He's an Accountant with his own practice and a pianist. He composes songs in popular genres like Dance, House, Afro Pop, Gospel, RnB, Kwaito, etc. His first single was a song he wrote for his wife on her 40th birthday titled "Happy Birthday Puseletso" and it's available on all DSPs. Though he's not a vocalist, he opted to sing the song himself to bring out the personal dedication to his wife as part of the her birthday present.

He has also produced a song by Bahatii Sithole called Africa which is a song to Africans urging them to take pride in their continent. The song is written in Isizulu, Shona, Swahili and Setswana with performances on SABC News shows. It is available on all DSPs with SABC performances on Morena Pianista YouTube page. His latest single called Being Myself, which is also available on all DSPs, sees him extend his skills into rapping, a song written in Tswana and English to pay homage to his late parents and inspire listeners to be themselves.

Morena Pianista owns his own recording label called MGB Music where he has already signed one artist with the stage name Simcard, whose kwaito single is planned to be released in 2023. With his profession as a SAICA registered Accountant, Morena Pianista is well versed in providing services to other musicians in ensuring that their intellectual property is registered and protected while also assisting them with tax matters and financial literacy.
