After the famous Mannenberg and Book Cafe venues closed in 2011, Nyamarebvu moved on to find new venues to showcase his craft. Pakare Paye Arts Centre, an arts and culture hub based in Norton founded by Oliver "Tuku" Mtukudzi, offers well-equipped rehearsal rooms and impressively geared live performance stages. Goethe Zentrum, which served as the venue for Magitare Trust's Acoustic Night platform in 2011, and well-equipped rehearsal rooms were among the venues Nyamarebvu devotedly attended and performed at the highly incubate monthly open-mic and jam sessions.
In 2014, he was able to get worldwide performance possibilities thanks to his unique African voice, which resounds with determined strength and profound tenderness. He performed with the German band Jamaram in Munich, Germany, and Austria. Nyamarebvu was also granted an Artist in Residency grant at Villa Waldberta in Germany during this period, where he spent three months working with regional performers. Nyamarebvu received the 2017 Caldera Arts Centre (Oregon USA) One Beat Fellowship Award and Artist in Residency funding after One Beat USA took notice of his earlier works. In addition, he travelled the United States with the One Beat ensemble. Since then, Nyamarebvu's ethnomusical style has been able to break through all borders and attract audiences from a wide range of cultural backgrounds around the world.
Munya has participated in a number of cultural projects and performance art workshops that promote community building in Zimbabwe and other countries. His "Masterclass" artist engagement effort, which he curated after his "Play it for Pakare" initiative, is a "business-of-the-arts" follow-on accelerator forum. He continues to donate his time to it. In collaboration with Pakare Paye Arts Centre, Munya Nyamarebvu introduced Play It For Pakare, a forum for showcasing performance art, in 2015 when he was doing his internship as a Business Development officer (Marketing - Events management).
To date he has released 2 solo albums; Ngatidanane (2018) and the follow up album Tengenenge (2023)
