Rural Arts Development Funding Spaza Shop is an organisation in Mafikeng, South Africa that aims to support arts and culture development in rural areas.

The organisation provides financial, technical and other forms of assistance to underprivileged rural artists to stimulate artistic creation and expression with a long term aim of establishing a national rural arts and culture fund for the promotion of arts and culture in rural areas.

The mission is to celebrate rich rural arts, culture and ethnic diversities, for a globally inclusive rural arts, culture and social cohesion.

Rural Arts Development Funding Spaza Shop strives to position rural areas on the global arts and culture map through an independent fund aiming to establish and sustain rural arts, creative and cultural industry.

We aim to strengthen and spread the rich home-grown knowledge and capacity of our rural artists.
We want to enable rural artists to dramatically improve their lives and ultimately the communities in which they live and work in through the arts.
