Bio
Ronald Ssemaganda, is a distinguished Ugandan folk singer-songwriter and a music producer. He is known for his skills as a multi-instrumentalist who plays the local Ugandan Adungu (bow harp), fiddle (endingidi), akogo, guitar, flute, djembe, calabash, congas, and drums, among others seamlessly blending them with modern musical elements to create ‘modern African Folk’.
He Co-founded the experimental band RA256, he aims to pioneer innovation in Uganda's music scene.
Ssemaganda's compositions are inspired by Ugandan folklore and personal experiences and they serve as a powerful medium for social cohesion.
Through his music, he not only connects with Ugandans but also shares the cultural richness of Uganda with a global audience, showcasing the universal language of music as a unifying force.
