Stelio Mondlane is a drummer, producer, composer, music director and social activist. Stélio Mondlane has extensive experience in the music industry, with participation in renowned festivals, such as the Azgo Festival and More Jazz Series in Mozambique, Bushfire (Swaziland) MASA Festival (Ivory Coast), Lugano Festival (Switzerland) Lents festival (Slovenia) Kassumama (Austria) and much more… Stélio Mondlane has worked and shared stages with several Mozambican and international artists such as: Andy Narrel, Hugh Massekela, Judith Sephuma, HipHop Pantsula, Oliver Mthukuzi, Richard Bona, Dave Coz, Vinx, Lira, Kakana, Ivan Mazuze, Isabel Novela, Jaco Maria, Mingas, Moreira Chonguiça, Noemia, Tanselle and many others. Currently the musician works on social projects related to Autism, works with Stélio Mondlane’s project, Leyna Souto, Stewart Sukuma and band Nkhuvu, Artur Matsinhe, Jimmy Dludlu and "In The Groove. He has won 2 awards at Ngoma Mozambique, has a CD and a DVD released, and is currently looking forward to launching his second CD for this year, wishing to contribute to the growth of this noble art in Mozambique and beyond borders.
