Teekay Almighty

Teekay Almighty previously known as Word The Unorthodox, real name (Thokozani Shabangu) is an artist from Atteridgeville, Pretoria.

Teekay is better known from his track ' 3pm in cape Town' which he released in june 2018, Under the name Word The Unorthodox. which happened to be his first appearance In the music scene.

Teekay's journey in the music industry, started with him writing lyrics in his note book back in primary school. Before pursuing his passion in music, he claims to have had a musical vision and musical dreams where he would hear a song in his dream and wake up singing it in perfect tune, he terms that experience as melodic lucid vision, where he was convinced that music is his calling and not just a talent.

In October 22 / 2019, Teekay Almighty released a mixtape titled " I Grew Up Too Kind" under the name Word The Unorthodox, from there on he released 3 hot singles under word the unorthodox right before he changed to Teekay Almighty.

His latest release Family first, which happens to be his debut single from his anticipated album dropping sometime in 2023 is paving the way for the Almighty
