Vee Mukarati

Vimbai "Vee" Mukarati ( Born 17 February 1988) is an award winning Zimbabwean singer, saxophonist, composer and producer. One of the country's most charismatic performers, Vee's music is influenced by sounds from all over the world with lyrics that focus on life and it's many social complexities.

A graduate of the renowned Berkelee Track Jazz and Contemporary Music programme he is one of the hallmarks of Zimbabwean contemporary music. As a solo artist he has released two albums : 'Moto' - locally released in Zimbabwe in 2015 and a concept album that tells a compelling love story - 'Nyamavhuvhu Night Sounds' internationally released under his own record label, Primrose Records, in August 2017. He is an avid collaborator who has shared the stage with some of Zimbabwe's biggest artists and Djs including, Oliver Mtukudzi, Mokoomba and Hope Masike to name a few. Vee Mukarati is also the host of The Vee Mukarati Podcast, a weekly society and culture podcast.
