Warriors from the East Band, Nominated in 3 Categories in Tanzanian music awards 2021 Best Traditional Artist of the year,Best reggae song of the year and Best Male Reggae Artist of the year, also Winners of Tanzanian Kilimajaro Music awards 2012 and 2013 best reggae band of the year are an Afro Fusion band based in Arusha, Tanzania .Our style of music is Called "Nile Blues" Blues music from the Banks of River Nile,Ancient Music from the tribes that lived along the River Nile like the Maasai and luo,its a mixture of Traditional African, with reggae, Dancehall, blues, and rock. We combine acoustic guitars with a range of African percussion musical instruments like Adungu from Uganda, Nyatiti from Kenya and Marimba from Tanzania and Kraal from Ethiopia. Modern western instruments such as electric guitars, keyboard, saxophone, and trumpet and drum set.
