As part of the official programme for the Ibiza Music Summit 2025, Africa To Ibiza features a high-energy sunset session celebrating amapiano, Afrohouse, and Afro-electronic music genres that are increasingly shaping dance floors worldwide.
The curated line-up includes an eclectic mix of influential African DJs and producers: DBN Gogo, Major League DJz, Zakes Bantwini, Jackie Queens, Kikelomo, Sfarzo Rtee, Dare Balogun, Thuto The Human, Aniko, Shimiso and 2Shoes. Together, they will deliver a genre-blending showcase that places African sound culture at the forefront of Ibiza’s iconic electronic music scene.
More than just a live music event, Africa To Ibiza represents a cultural exchange between Africa and the Balearic Islands, aiming to elevate the visibility of African creatives on a global stage. The stream offers a front-row digital experience for international audiences and seeks to build lasting connections between artists, brands, and fans across key markets.
The initiative also underscores the growing influence of African music in the global electronic landscape. By leveraging the creative energy of Ibiza and the reach of Twitch’s live-streaming platform, the organisers are championing a progressive vision for African music — one that embraces cultural fusion, innovation, and global collaboration.
Audiences around the world are encouraged to tune in and join the conversation online using the hashtag #AfricaToIbiza as the sounds of Africa take over Ibiza, live on Twitch.
