Call for applications: Artist residency in Switzerland
Artists and cultural professionals from different fields are encouraged to apply for a new residency programme set be launched in February 2020, in Zernez, Switzerland.
- The Susch Museum in Switzerland.
Temporars Susch will be launched by the Susch Museum and will offer cultural professionals from various disciplines, writers, curators, cultural producers and researchers from diverse backgrounds and career stages with space for research and research activities for two to four weeks.
The residencies in 2020 are designed for February, May, August and October.
As a non-production-oriented programme Temporars Susch neither requires a tangible outcome nor financially support from participants. However, participants are expected to be actively involved in public programmes and to share partial outputs of research or creation using either of the following methods:
- Workshops.
- Artist talks.
- Panel discussions.
The application deadline is 15 August 2019 and successful candidates will be notified in November 2019.
Requirements
To take part in the residency, applicants must be above 18 years old and should submit the following:
- Basic personal and professional information.
- A letter of motivation with a detailed project of how your own practice/research could benefit from the residency.
- A portfolio with a maximum of five projects.
Note that all the requirements must be submitted in English.
Selected participants will be provided with:
- Accommodation.
- Travel expenses.
- A weekly contribution of 350 Swiss francs ($350).
