Call for applications: Fellowship for black creators and entrepreneurs

Applications are currently ongoing for the Blavity.org Growth Fellowship Programme 2022 for creators and entrepreneurs.
Blavity.org is a new racial equity and social impact organisation created by the founders of Blavity Inc. The initiative furthers Blavity Inc.’s social impact through the development of digital programmes designed to advance economic progress and racial equity for black entrepreneurs.
The six-month programme, which is open to artists creatives, journalists, storytellers and entrepreneurs, is geared towards accelerating their businesses.
It offers each fellow a non-dilutive $10 000 grant, resources from corporate partners and one-on-one mentorship opportunities with industry leaders.
Eligibility:
- Black creatives, journalists, artists and storytellers.
- Black-run businesses with retail, product or service offerings.
- Black-owned and operated businesses with at least two employees.
Benefits:
- A non-dilutive $10 000 grant.
- Two educational workshops each month of the programme, focusing on executive leadership and learning a new skill.
- A virtual retreat serving as an interface between fellows and mentors to share and celebrate their experiences and growth.
