Call for applications: Google for Startups accelerator programme in Africa
Applications are currently ongoing for the seventh class of the Google for Startups Accelerator Africa programme.
Launched in 2017, the three-month virtual initiative targets high potential seed to Series A tech startups in Africa. The announcement follows Google for Startups’ equity-free funding to 50 African startups through its $3m Black Founders Fund Africa.
Startups at the seed to Series A stages from Algeria, Botswana, Cameroon, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda and Zimbabwe are invited to apply.

Alumni of the programme include Ghana-based media platform OMG Digital and South Africa-based visual effects platform Beamm, among others.
