Submissions of performances/live projects that combine documentary film elements with music, theatre, dance, and/or emerging media are also welcome. - Applicants whose questions are not answered in the FAQs, should email doclab@idfa.nl.
- Applicants should provide appropriate viewing materials via a password-protected streaming/download link or by uploading supporting documentation.
For more information about the types of works IDFA can showcase, read about IDFA DocLab and other various programme sections such as IDFA on Stage.

“We can preview interactive/immersive projects on most platforms and devices such as MAC, PC, iOS, Android, Oculus, VIVE, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, etc,” IDFA said. “We can also consider projects made for other platforms, devices, and VR/AR headsets. For projects using custom platforms or devices, please specify what’s required in the online entry form. If your project is selected, we encourage you to provide more accessible formats for festival visitors with disabilities. We will contact you about how we can present your work in the best and most accessible way.”
Applicants who require assistance submitting their projects because they have a disability, or they experience language barriers in the submission process, should email the organisers at doclab@idfa.nl or call +31 (0)20 6273329.
