Call for applications: Scores for CD compilation in Greece
Greece-based Polish musician and composer Iwona Glinka is inviting composers from around the world to submit entries for performance and recording on the instruments of flute, cello or piano.
Glinka is a soloist, educator, recording artist, orchestral and chamber musician, as well as being a leading performer of new and experimental music.
She founded the Phasma-Music Ensemble in 2016, where she currently serves as the Artistic Director in addition to playing many concerts a year as an ensemble member. She has given dozens of solo recitals with classical and contemporary repertoires and has appeared as Principal Flautist with orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Successful entries will be performed live and also recorded for a CD compilation to be released in 2020 on the Phasma Music Label. The CD will be available in both physical and digital copies and will be distributed via Naxos.
Successful composers will be awarded €280 and 12 copies of CD album.
The application deadline is 31 August 2019. Successful applicants will be notified on 15 September 2019.
Eligibility
The score to be submitted should:
- Not have been commercially released on recording
- Not exceed three minutes
- Be in PDF format
Requirements

- A profile (max 50 words)
- Program notes in English (max 50 words)
- Demo recordings or a link to Dropbox, Soundcloud, or other external hosting sites
