Call for registration: East Africa arts mobility grant webinar
The British Council’s East Africa Arts programme is inviting artists and/or cultural practitioners working across sub-Saharan Africa to a one-hour webinar to discuss the application process for two mobility grants.
The webinar session will take place on either 19 or 20 November at 3.30pm (EAT). Interested individuals will have the opportunity to discuss the application process and ask questions.
East Africa in Motion grant
The grant, managed by Development East Africa, supports East Africa-based artists, cultural practitioners, researchers, and curators as well as art groups or collectives and organisation looking to create new connections.
Individuals and organisations from the following countries are eligible to apply:
- Kenya
- Uganda
- Tanzania
- Rwanda
- Ethiopia
- Sudan
- South Sudan
The Mobility Fund
The grant has been created in partnership with and the Prince Claus Fund for Culture and Development with the aim of supporting artists and cultural professionals who are looking to strengthen their cultural practice.
Individuals and organisations from the following countries are eligible to apply:
- Botswana
- Ethiopia
- Ghana
- Kenya
- Malawi
- Mauritius
- Mozambique
- Namibia
- Nigeria
- Rwanda
- Senegal
- Sierra Leone
- South Africa
- South Sudan
- Sudan
- Tanzania
- Uganda
- Zambia
- Zimbabwe
