Call for registrations: Byta and Shure Digital Recording Academy
Registration is currently ongoing for music-sharing app Byta and audio products company Shure’s first Digital Recording Academy.
The course, slated for 22 August, consists of four individual 45-minute sessions focused on recording and production best practices. These sessions will cover various aspects, including audio and digital file best practices and strategies for recording in different situations.
Each session will delve into specific challenges that creators should consider when planning to record and produce digital audio. Attendees will also discover valuable tips and tricks that lead to audio success and enable them to confidently share their work.
The individual courses include:

Home Studio: Tips and tricks for home studio and capturing professional and crisp-sounding audio, from music to content.

Digital Best Practices: File formats, digital and audio security.

Voice, Instruments, Rooms: Best practices on getting the sound right.

Collaboration: File sharing and working with others.
The day’s events will culminate with a networking session, allowing participants to connect with fellow artists and instructors.
“Before you can share your music you have to create your music,” organisers said. “From audio and digital file best practices to planning and recording your audio in every environment. These four sessions will help you understand how to properly capture and coordinate whatever sounds you need to record.”
