eSwatini: MTN Bushfire Firefly announces 20 top artists

Open to South African artists for the first time this year, the locally produced music talent competition has unearthed over 100 ‘bubbling under’ artists since its inception in 2017.   

The competition is still underway and seeks to unearth under-the-radar artists, with the top three winning artists scheduled to perform at the MTN Bushfire festival in eSwatini from 26 to 28 May.

The 20 artists are currently in the voting stage of the competition, with the top 10 artists expected to perform at the MTN Bushfire Firefly Grand Finale at House On Fire on 28 April.

The public can vote for the top 10 via the MTN Bushfire Firefly channel on the Ayoba app. Personalised MTN Pulse data bundles will be available for purchase throughout the series. More information can be found on the MTN Bushfire website.
