Ghana Music Awards UK 2024: All the nominees
The Ghana Music Awards UK (GMA-UK) 2024 nominees have been announced in Accra, Ghana, ahead of the main ceremony on 19 October in London.
Now in its eighth year, the scheme, put together by Alordia Promotions and West Coast UK, celebrates outstanding musical feats by Ghanaian musicians, spotlighting and honouring their impact in the UK. The eligibility period is from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024.
This year's most nominated acts include Kuami Eugene with 13, Stonebwoy with 12 and Sarkodie with 10.
Last year, dancehall singer Shatta Wale emerged as the biggest winner, bagging the Artist of the Year Award, as well as the gongs for Reggae/Dancehall Artist of the Year, Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year and Song of the Year.
