Omawumi set to rock Freedom Park Lagos

The award-winning singer will be joined by such popular acts as Slim Case, Chidinma, DJ Spinall, Timi Dakolo, Lami Phillips, Brymo and Ego.

The show is part of the promotion of her new album In Her Feelings which includes songs like ‘For My Baby’, ‘Away’, ‘True Loving’, ‘Tabansi’, ‘Mr Sinnerman’, ‘Green Grass’ and ‘In Her Feelings.’

The Freedom Park concert according to Omawumi will create another experience for music lovers. “If you handn’t attended any of my previous In Her Feelings tours, you didn’t see anything,” she said. “This one is going to be lit, you know freedom park Lagos gives someone extra ginger but I’m coming prepared. I’m not going to be alone on stage, I’m coming with some of your favourite artists, yay”

The live performance, presented by List Entertainment and OMA Records, will be the third concert in promotion of her new album. Recently, she was in Kenya promoting the new release.

The Singer stressed further: “The album represents a legacy which was stirred by family, domestic violence, relationships and the society. I am genuinely humbled to have my fans and close friends who support me. I hope it contributes to the lives of everyone who listens to it.’

Omawumi gained international attention as the 2007 runner-up at West African Idols, a reality TV show that is part of the Idols franchise.
