Open call: Africa Rising Music Conference 2024
Artists and music professionals are invited to submit applications for the 2024 edition of Africa Rising Music Conference at the Hallmark House Hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa, on 28 and 29 May.
The conference aims to showcase the diverse and dynamic music scene in Africa and provide a platform for music industry players to network, build bridges and collaborate.
Founded in 2018 and led by female creatives SJ Nicholson, Sharon Ramoshaba, DJ La Vita, Jules Spielmann and Namakau Star, ARMC is known for its mix of local and international delegates, its focus on both the urban and electronic music industries, and the connections it provides between Africa and Europe as well as the rest of the world.
“We are delighted to invite you to participate in next year’s ARMC event,” the organisers said. “This is a terrific opportunity for performers to display their talents and for music experts to submit panel sessions that will engage, educate, and inspire attendees.
“If you are an artist searching for a home to share your work with the world, or a music professional with important views on industry trends, we welcome you to apply or suggest a session today. Don’t pass up this opportunity to network with other creatives, develop new connections, and leave your stamp on the music industry. Apply for showcasing today or suggest your session before it’s too late.”
Interested artists and music professionals should apply here and here, respectively.
