Rwandan singer Ariel Wayz set to release new EP
Rwandan singing sensation Ariel Wayz is set to release her second EP.
The singer took to social media on Monday to inform her fans that she had something planned for them for her birthday on 9 September.
“My second EP Touch the Sky is coming out very soon,” Wayz tweeted. “This one is very special and I can’t wait to share it with you.”
The artist said she was putting the final touches to the EP, which will be an amalgam of different genres such as Afrobeats, R&B, drill, trap and more.
The project comprises six tracks, namely, ‘Mpaka’, ‘You Should Know’, ‘FU’, ‘TTS’, ‘Far From Me’ and ‘Bad’.
“Touch the Sky means a lot to me. It’s a musical experience that I want to share with my fans. It has only bangers,” she said.
The highly regarded artist has been enjoying a wave of success recently, with songs like ‘Demo’ and ‘Uno’ garnering massive airplay. Her hit song ‘Away’ featuring Juno Kizigenza is considered her breakout tune.
Ariel Wayz’s debut EP Love and Lust was released on 31 December 2021.
