SA: Amy Jones drops new song ‘Again’
South African singer and songwriter Amy Jones has released a new single titled ‘Again’, available on digital streaming platforms.

The track follows the success of her previous single ‘Nobody’, which received significant radio airplay in South Africa and reached the Radiomonitor Top 20 airplay chart earlier this year.
Again was produced by Luke Goliath, who also worked on Nobody. The song was written by South African songwriter Andre Graham.
According to Jones, the single explores themes of personal growth, emotional clarity and prioritising meaningful relationships over external expectations.
“The inspiration behind ‘Again’ came from the idea of walking away from things that once felt like everything, the noise, the chaos, the attention, and even dreams I once thought defined me and choosing something quieter, but far more real,” Jones said.
“It explores that moment where you stop chasing what looks good on the outside and start protecting what feels right on the inside.”
Jones added that the song reflects her current personal priorities, including family life and motherhood.
“Because what I have now — my family, my baby boy, and a love that feels deeply real — means far more to me than anything I had before,” she said.
Since emerging through Idols South Africa, Jones has built a career in pop and electronic music, beginning with the release of her debut single Sunrise in 2018.
Her catalogue includes songs such as ‘You and Me’, ‘Get a Little’ and ‘Dance on My Own’, the latter of which spent five weeks at number one on Heart FM and was later featured in the Netflix series Jiva!.
In 2023, Jones released her debut album My Forever Friend, which included the singles ‘For You’ and ‘Love Is In You’.
Her career has also included performances alongside international acts such as Major Lazer, Robin S, Sybil and DJ Zinhle, as well as appearances at events including the Formula E Fan Park in Cape Town and the Shrewsbury Flower Show in the United Kingdom.
