SA: DJ PH features Cassper Nyovest on new single Serious

The single is available for streaming and download of various major digital platforms.

The anthemic song features a strong influence from kwaito and amapiano with a bold verse from Lady Du, a catchy hook from Makwa and motswako rap lyrics delivered by Cassper Nyovest.

‘Serious’ is DJ PH's first release in two years, and grows his diverse catalogue of music, which includes ‘Go Down’, ‘uGesi’, ‘Gotta Go’ and ‘Till the Morning’, among others.

“I’m excited to be releasing new music again,” the DJ said. “This is the first of many releases that I’ll be putting out this year.”

‘Serious’ adds to DJ PH's impressive list of achievements. The sinlge comes off the back of TV show Lockdown House Party, which was executively produced by the musician. In 2019, his single ‘Go Down’ was selected as the official soundtrack for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Born PH Madubela, DJ PH is widely known in South Africa for his versatility and energetic stage presence. His career boasts more than 12 years in the industry, with other roles including presenting TV gigs and co-hosting radio shows.
