SA: Kiddo CSA features S1mba and Reason on Haibo remix

The remix is available for streaming and downloading on all digital platforms. Originally released in 2021, ‘Haibo’ has since garnered over half a million streams.

“‘Haibo’ is a colloquial term used to express something of a shock, is the perfect expression of my life right now,” Kiddo CSA said. “It is me realising my childhood dreams coming to life, daily. The energy in the studio was crazy, S1mba and Reason came through with the bars, which challenged me up to my game and record a new verse to match their energy.

“I’m really excited for what the future holds for me. A year ago, I never imagined that I’d be where I am now. I’m looking forward to putting in the work that’s needed to take me higher. I just want to make sure the people who believed in me and invested in my growth are proud of me.”

S1mba said: “Being in South Africa was a legendary experience and being in the studio with Kiddo and Reason felt natural. We connected and came together to bring a special approach to this remix.”

Reason added: “I really connected with the original version of ‘Haibo’, so when Kiddo asked me to hop on the remix, it made sense to me. I think people are going to enjoy the new take on a track that was already fire.”

Kiddo CSA, born Sipho Ncube, garnered the attention of US rapper Mick Jenkins and renowned producer Tee-WaTT, which led to the release of his debut single ‘Stay Down’. He also featured on ‘Gotta Go’ alongside hip hop heavyweights DJ PH, Da L.E.S and Tumi Tladi in 2020.
