SA: MTV Base announces Hottest MCs of 2021

The annual event comprises a panel of judges featuring South African hip hop artists and associated personalities. The rappers are judged based on impact, lyrics, sales, buzz, style and intangibles.

Blxckie was crowned South Africa’s Hottest MC in 2021, followed by Big Zulu, Nasty C, A-Reece and 25K. The event was hosted by MTV Base culture squad member Tshego Koke, who was joined by panelists including DJ Zan D, Shala The Unicorn, Kai, Buhle, Siya and French Fry.
