SA: Phenomenal Woman concert set for 6 August
The Art of Superwoman, in collaboration with Isuzu and the NIROX Foundation, has announced that the Phenomenal Woman concert will take place at Nirox Sculpture Park in Krugersdorp, South Africa, on 6 August.
The Phenomenal Women concert celebrates Women’s Month in South Africa, paying tribute to the more than 20 000 women who marched to the Union Buildings on August 9 in 1956 in protest against the extension of Pass Laws to women.
Hosted by Aus Tebza ‘The Bass Queen’ Sedumedi, the event promises to be an immersive experience, with renowned names like Pilani Bubu, Tamara Dey, Nothende, Wanda Baloyi, Holly Rey, and more taking the stage to showcase their creativity and celebrate womanhood in all its facets.
A significant highlight of the event will be the inauguration of the Kromdraai Impact & Co-Creativity Hub, serving as a platform to showcase the creative brilliance of women from diverse artistic domains.
Attendees can indulge in delightful culinary creations by Mpho Phalane from Food I Love You, along with an array of bubbles, wines, cocktails and bespoke beverages thoughtfully created at the Garden Bar.
The event will kick off at 10am, and guests can choose from different ticket categories to be part of this empowering experience. General admission tickets are priced at R540, while late admission tickets are available at R600. Children under 12 can enter free of charge.
The Art of Superwoman organisation, founded by Olwethu Leshabane, is dedicated to empowering women in various aspects of life, including wellness, lifestyle, womenomics, careers, parenting, and relationships.
