SA: Rouge to play Red Bull gig in Cape Town

South African rapper Rouge will perform at the Red Bull Music Studios in Cape Town, South Africa, on 5 March.

The artist, who says she will be playing new music at the event, will be joined by Sipho the Gift, Seavhe DeejaY and J-Cue.

“I am very excited to make music outside of the pressure of my upcoming album while trying different things and different sounds that I have never tried before,” Rouge said.

“As for my performance, the fans can expect an experience like none before and perhaps even a vulnerability I have never shown before.”

Rouge told Music In Africa that she was excited to be part of the Red Bull Music experience.

“I will be performing one or two songs that might feature on my upcoming project called Love and Other Stuff,” she said.

“I can’t give a specific date regarding the release of the album but people can look towards June because I am still working to make sure it’s what I want it to be. I love it and I think it’s very exciting to share the stage with artists from Cape Town, it’s a different vibe, sound.”
