SA’s Sam Jensen releases debut album

Titled Oceans and Skies, the twelve-track album is available on Spotify, CD Baby and iTunes.

The artist, whose interest in music dates back to his early teenage years, worked over the years to put together the project that is the album.

Oceans and Skies has a number of upbeat tracks and features South African local artists Mark Beling, Andy Klee and Idols winner David van Vuuren.  The first song ‘Oceans and Skies’ is a funky and uplifting summer anthem with a fast tempo. Other songs that feature on the album include ‘Give Me Your Love’, ‘La Di Da’, ‘Music Makes Me’, and ‘Maxed My Credit Card’.

Inspired by his fun and light outlook on life, the Oceans and Skies album is perfect for summer. Jensen is influenced by Tiësto, Avicii, Armin van Buuren and David Guetta and other electronic music producers. The talented artist is a regular feature on the local club.

“I love making music that is contemporary and in touch with what people want,” says Sam Jensen. “I am always aware of the hottest sounds and love seeing the reaction of the crowd when they hear my tracks—that’s what keeps me going.”

His passion for music started as a young boy, listening to his father’s records and dreaming of making his owns songs. As a teenager, he fell in love with the guitar, piano and violin. Shortly afterwards, his elder brother taught him music programming. Sam Jensen has produced electronic music ever since.
