TunesLiberia Music Awards 2019: Full list of nominees

The organisers of the TunesLiberia Music Awards have released a list of nominees for its upcoming edition.

CIC has received the highest nods ahead of the second edition of the TunesLiberia Awards.

The award ceremony will take place at the Monrovia City Hall on 23 February.

The list sees CIC on top with 6 nominations including Video of the Year, Artist of the Year and Song of the Year. Other acts with who have multiple nominations include Bucky Raw and Stunna, both of whom have four nods. DenG, Christoph The Change, Kobazzie and Kizzy W score three nods.

Last year, the organisers said the artists who received nominations "were selected based on hard work and consistency through the year and...tireless contributions to the growth of the Liberian music industry. The selection was based highly on merit rather personal friendship or any kind of preference."

Now in its second edition, the event will feature new categories including Best Online Blog, Best DJ Singles, Most Promising Act to Watch, Best Fan Army, Best Club DJ and Best Radio DJ.
