Ultra South Africa unveils 2024 line-up
The organisers of Ultra South Africa have announced the names of artists who will perform at the ninth edition of the festival at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Racecourse in Cape Town and Nasrec Expo Centre in Johannesburg on 1 and 2 March 2024, respectively.
The festival will be headlined by Skrillex (US), Steve Aoki (US), Afrojack (Netherlands), W&W (Netherlands) and Vintage Culture (Brazil). Kyle Watson (South Africa) and DJ Melé (UK) will also perform at both Cape Town and Johannesburg shows, with Watson performing on the Main stage and Melé on the Resistance stage.
They will be joined by local and continental acts who will perform separately in Cape Town and Johannesburg. For Cape Town audiences, Dean Fuel, Mia and TiMO ODV will be performing on the Main stage, while Dwson, Fka Mash, JAMIEE, Leighton Moody, B2B, Cassiem, Latief and Roz will perform on the Resistance stage.
In Johannesburg, CINIMIN, Dean FUEL, DJ Zinhle and DJ Kent will be performing on the Main stage while Blanka Mazimela, Da Capo, B2B, Kitty Amor, Jamiie, Shamiso, Suraj and Euggy will be adding their flair to the Resistance stage.
Johannesburg festival-goers will once again have the chance to revel in two specially-curated stages: The Smirnoff Storm Room and Club House. Both stages will feature performances from DBN Gogo, Kabza De Small, 2wobunnies, Kelvin Momo, Kooldrink, Lelowhatsgood, Musa Keys, Oscar Mbo, Sio, Thakzin and Tyler ICU. On the Club House stage, Darque, Das Kapital, DJ Buhle, Jevan Binder, Kasango, Lazarusman, Naak, Roger Goode, B2B, Kyle Cassim, TiMO ODV, Trancemicsoul, Tristan Urwin and Vimo will be live on the decks.
The 2024 edition of the premier outdoor electronic music festival is expected to welcome back tens of thousands of music lovers. Ultra South Africa is part of the larger Ultra Music Festival (UMF) series, a flagship event in Miami. Founded in 1997 in Miami, UMF represents one of the world’s biggest independent electronic music festival brands, with an international presence, having united 20 countries across five different continents. Other franchises under UMF include locations in Croatia, South Korea, Singapore, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia, among others.
