YEN Entertainment Awards in Ghana: All the nominees

The awards platform was launched by local online news portal YEN.com.gh to honour outstanding creative achievements across 11 categories, including those geared toward recognising the best Ghanaian musicians in terms of performances, songs or albums released, as well as general impact. Other categories are film, fashion, comedy, social media and philanthropy.

Organisers say the inaugural edition of the scheme will celebrate work done throughout 2022.

Musicians Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Camidoh and KiDi were shortlisted in the Male Artist of the Year category, while Cina Soul, Diana Hamilton, Gyakie, MzVee and Wendy Shay are in the running for Female Artist of the Year. 

Meanwhile, Stonebwoy also earned a nomination in the Changemakers of the Year category that celebrates social impact efforts by Ghanaian entertainers.
