Maisha Superstar search kicks off

The Maisha Superstar search has kicked off, and will be running for the next 13 weeks. The reality TV search that will be looking to unveil the next hot showbiz personality will involve six celebrity coaches from Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania and will air on Maisha Magic TV.

The coaches are Nameless, Jose Chameleone, Maurice Kirya, Rabbit, AY and Shaa. They will be charged with whittling down the list of entrants to the final six who will eventually battle it out for the top prize. The competitors will benefit from the mentorship of their coaches as they progress. Up for grabs is a cash award and a recording contract. The series presenter will be Amina Abdi, with Eric Wainaina standing in as music director.
