Yahto Kraft
Bio
Yahto Kraft is an artist from South Africa.
He became popular after having featured on Season 3 of The Voice Reality South Africa show.
Yahto has been on stage since a very young age, as performing is his passion.
His first musical theatre experience on stage was in 2010 in the Alberton Civic Theatre as Michael Banks in Mary Poppins.
Other performances followed, including Detention – an original Afrikaans Musical (Lead Role as Sebastian), Night with the Stars with the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra (soloist) and he was a backing vocalist in The Voice South Africa, for Richard Stirton, the winner of The Voice South Africa Season 1.
In June 2017, he portrayed Moritz in a workshop of Spring Awakening. He performed in Born To Perform’s SHINE! in 2018 and 2019 at the Lyric and Teatro as a soloist, where he performed his own original song Ugly, as well as designing and sewing some costumes for the show!
Most recently he was part of the cast of Gone Too Soon, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, and the Afrikaans educational film, Asem.
On 17 April, Yahto released his debut single, 'Ugly'.
