Call for applications: 2022 SzólóDuó international dance festival in Hungary
The SzólóDuó international dance festival is accepting entries for its 2022 edition in Budapest, Hungary.
Launched in 2007, the event offers an opportunity for individual dancers and dance groups to perform, realise their artistic concepts, and receive personal, detailed feedback from the jury.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
- Solo performances and duo performances cannot be more than six minutes and nine minutes, respectively. Overrunning these time limits will lead to disqualification.
- In order to attend the festival, participants have to follow COVID-19 rules, and participants travelling from abroad have to fulfil the entry regulations to Hungary at the time. Applicants must make sure to check it out at the consular service.
Requirements
Applicants should submit the following:
- A completed registration form.
- Confirmation of paid registration fee.
- Link of the video (in case of video nomination).
- Press-quality picture.
The footage being submitted should:
- Be recorded in a black box or under theatrical conditions.
- Be dance recordings of finished, lit theatrical productions and not dance films.
- Be shot with one or a maximum of two fixed cameras.
- In full HD 1080p quality, landscape (16:9) format.
- Have no filters, no graphic effects, no black and white, should be in colour and without captions, without credits.
To share the video, applicants should upload an HD quality video on YouTube or any other online channel and share the link. The video should be downloadable.
Note:
- Image photo of the production (If an applicant would like to add a photo of their production to the brochure, they may send a press quality image photo, 300 DPI resolution min).
- Portrait photos of the participants should be sent separately (300 DPI resolution min).
- All photos should be sent to szoloduo@mozdulatmuveszet.hu.
