Call for proposals: 2022 Reeperbahn Festival Conference
The Reeperbahn Festival Conference (RBF) is inviting interested people to submit proposals for its 2022 edition, which will take place in Hamburg, Germany, from 21 to 24 September.
The invitation is open to anyone who would like to give a talk or present a project during this year’s programme.
“We are looking for topics that deal with current challenges and developments in the international music industry and fit into at least one of our thematic tracks,” RBF said.
The proposal should relate to one of the following branches:
- Recorded music
- Music and tech
- Creative tech
- Live entertainment
- Film & TV
- Games and e-sports
- Media and journalism
- Modern classical music
- Politics
- Marketing
- Rights management brands and advertising
- Social action
Applicants should note the following details before making submissions:
- The contribution should be no longer than 30 minutes, except in exceptional cases such as panels.
- The presentation should be in English due to a high number of non-German speaking delegates, unless the session primarily deals with the realities of the German-speaking world.
- If your call is a panel, it should not include more than five speakers, and gender balance is important to the organisers.
- Applicants who would like to include other speakers should enter their names and details of their position and company/organisation in the online form under ‘speakers’.
RBF will provide the following:
- Participants will present to an audience of approximately 5 900 delegates.
- Promotion and presentation of your event as a fully fledged element of the conference programme.
- Full accreditation as a delegate at Reeperbahn Festival Conference 2022.
Interested applicants can submit proposals here before 15 May.
