Anselme Sawadogo

Anselme Sawadogo (47-year-old) is a member of the organising committee of ‘Jazz à Ouaga Festival’ (Burkina Faso).

Sawadogo is also a programme officer at Wallonie-Bruxelles-International, the diplomatic representation of the French-speaking community of Belgium. He is in charge of monitoring the implementation of cultural programs.

Sawadogo has a great passion for art, music, and jazz in particular.

Prior to working in the cultural sector, Sawadogo was working as a teacher, before he decided to quit and commit fully to his passions, art and music.

Sawadogo has a vast knowledge of the music scene of the West-African sub-region and has participated in several festivals and professional meetings.

Anselme Sawadogo is passionate about travelling, writing, horseback riding and, of course, arts and culture.
