Chris Brown is coming to SA in December
US R&B singer and songwriter Chris Brown will perform at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa on 14 December.
Presented by Big Concerts and Y, the show will mark Brown’s first performance in the country in nearly a decade, promising fans an unforgettable evening filled with his chart-topping hits and signature electrifying performances.
Tickets will go on sale on 1 October starting with an invite-only pre-sale from 10 am. The general sale opens on 3 October at 10am. Tickets are only available from Ticketmaster.
“Fans are strongly advised against purchasing tickets from Viagogo and other secondary sites,” Big Concerts said. “These tickets are unlawfully resold by deceitful sellers for commercial purposes at multiple times the face value and are not legitimate tickets. Should you purchase these tickets you will be denied entry into the venue, and you will not be entitled to a refund.”
Born Christopher Maurice Brown, Brown is regarded as one of the most prominent artists in R&B music, credited as an evolver of the genre, and often referred to by contemporaries as the King of R&B. Several influences from other genres have characterised his R&B, mainly pop music and hip hop. His lyrics develop predominantly over emotional and hedonistic themes. Brown has had wide comparisons to Michael Jackson for his singing and dancing abilities, as well as for his stage presence.
All tickets will be 100% digital, mobile-only tickets, and only verified Ticketmaster accounts will be eligible to purchase up to eight tickets per Fan. Ticket Transfer will only be available 30 days before the event, and mobile ticket barcodes will be suppressed until three days before the event.
For safety reasons, all standing ticket holders must be over the age of 16 and have a minimum height of 1.2 meters.
