Call for entries: East Africa's Got Talent competition

The recently launched East Africa’s Got Talent reality TV show is inviting talented individuals, including musicians, to audition for an opportunity to feature in the talent search show, which is set to air in August 2019.

Interested individuals should send a one-minute video recording with their name, age and country to the judges via WhatsApp on +254 703 437 903.

Those selected will be invited to participate in the next round of theatre auditions in June. The finalists will battle it out in the semi-finals in September.

All talented individuals are welcome to apply, including singers, rappers, instrumentalists, dancers, poets, jugglers and stand-up comedians among others.

The TV show, which was launched by Tanzania's Clouds Media International, aims to discover and showcase talented individuals in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda. 

East Africa’s Got Talent will feature 10 episodes adapted for the East African market in partnership with Fremantle, Syco and South African production company Rapid Blue. Safaricom will sponsor the Kenyan leg of the show.

In Kenya, the show will air weekly from 8pm to 9pm on Citizen TV starting 4 August.
