Liberia Music Awards 2019: All the winners

Bucky Raw, Christoph the Change and Jaredo emerged as the biggest winners as they bagged two awards each in their respective categories.

Davero won the Best Female Artist of the Year Award for being "uniquely Liberian," the organisers said.

The  awards ceremony saw a number of performances from local stars, including Eric Geso, who had the audience on its feet throughout his energetic set.

Nigeria's Davido won the International Artist of the Year Award for a second year on the trot.

“This year’s MLMAs were all about showcasing and celebrating Liberian music as a unifier and driver of youth empowerment," the chief marketing officer of the awards' sponsor Lonestar Cell MTN, Yaw Ankoma Agyapong, said. "We are extremely proud of every single artist and of the fans who voted.”
